Requisites of Bavarian Purity
It is not a coincidence that Bavaria boasts the best beer in the world: since the 16th century some rigorous requirements apply for the production of beer and to maintain the high quality of the final product using the best ingredients.
One of the oldest rules in the field of nutrition was the Bavarian Purity Law, issued by Duke William IV in 1516: only water, hop and barley must be used to produce the Bavarian beer.
The majority of beer brands distribute some coins (Biermarken in German) to their guests, which can be traded with beer in the respective tents. If you wish to purchase beer coin please contact directly the tent/owner.
